Recognizing that the complexity of the health care system often leaves patients feeling confused lost, or overwhelmed, our certified and experienced breast health navigators can help you understand our various services, help connect you to appropriate resources or be your go-to person for questions.
Our breast health navigators provide you with education, support and assist you with obtaining a timely biopsy for benign or malignant conditions.
Direct referrals for the services of the breast health navigators and our outpatient facilities is available to patients, caregivers or physicians. Our breast health navigators do not take the place of your doctor’s office; they are the extra set of eyes and ears in your corner meeting your needs.
Surgical expertise for breast cancer treatment
Surgery is often the primary treatment for breast cancer in order to remove as much of the cancerous tissue as possible. Trumbull Regional Medical Center surgeons collaborate with a multidisciplinary cancer care team to plan the course of treatment for each patient.
