Diabetes Education at Trumbull Regional Medical Center is an outpatient program targeting adults and children with prediabetes, type 1, type 2 or gestational diabetes and their family members or caregivers.
The Diabetes Education Evening Group Class Series provides health resources and strategies for successful living with diabetes. Participants learn through lecture, group discussion, and/or individual presentations.
Classes are held quarterly Monday through Thursday in the Diabetes Education classroom on the first floor.
- Mondays from 6-7 p.m.
- Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 6-7:30 p.m.
- Thursdays from 6-7:30 p.m.
A physician referral and registration are required for these classes. Most insurance companies cover the costs, but you should check with your insurance company before enrolling.
